AUTHENTIC ILOCANO FOOD



Bagnet is a pork dried  under the sun and fried.



Alocon is a vegetable known in Tagalog region as "himbabao".  This vegetable  is  used with dinengdeng dishes.





Bisukol is a shellfish abundant in the ricefields.




Empanada is wrapped monggo beans and egg.



























Miki is a soup made from home made noodles.
Longganiza is a home made sausage made from pork and seasoned with Ilocano vinegar.

Paco is a locally grown edible fern. This is good for ensalada.

Pinakbet pizza is a pizza flavored with vegetables like those used in cooking pinakbet.


Pinapaitan is a dish made from beef or from goat's meat with special secret ingredient.

Poque-poque pizza. Sounds bastos but yummy.
